Our founder R. Gordon “Bunky” King set the stage in motion In 1959 with one campsite, located on beautiful Lake Manchaug and the rest is history.

Paul and Pauline Boutiette have owned and operated Kings Campground since 1986. Their commitment, dedication, and focus expanded Bunky’s vision into a family campground that undoubtedly is the most complete in Central Mass. The entire Boutiette family prides themselves on being responsive when it comes to meeting the campers needs. We continually strive for a careful balance of family fun and entertainment, because we believe in the phrase “Happy Camper”. Our goal is to keep you coming back.

We are staffed with courteous employees that help maintain our 100 site campground. We have a General Store, Petting Zoo, Swimming, Boating, Fishing, all “Good Family Fun”. So why travel to Maine or New Hampshire, when Kings Campground can provide the best in family camping right here in Mass. Whether you are a weekend camper or commute to work from your camper, we are conveniently located 1 hour from Boston, 35 minutes from Providence RI., and 20 minutes from Worcester, MA with all major highways nearby.
